The use of trail cameras not only helps to assist in observing wild game for your hunting preparations, but can also be a useful tool within your short films.  We, as self-filmers are limited to what we can capture on the video camera.  The reason, we don’t live in the wild 24/7 and we are a one person team.  The usefulness of trail cameras are that they capture what we can’t see when we are absent from the field. The use of a good trail camera can be invaluable to a short film.  Footage, from the camera, can often enhance the quality of the film.  Useful footage (images or videos) can assist in presenting the story and provides another layer of detail to the short film.  The decision to set the camera on photos or videos is solely up to the individual and their plans for the content usage within the films.
